Everything you might want to ask, answered.
Finding and buying
How do I find photos of my child?
Scan the QR code on our photographer's jersey, at the scorer's table, or at the venue entrance — or tap "Find my athlete's photos" on this site. Take a selfie of your child (or of the two of you), and we'll show you every photo we took of them.
What does it cost?
$19.99 gets you every photo of your athlete from that tournament, at full resolution with no watermark. A second child at the same tournament is $9.99. You can see all of your photos before paying.
Can I look before I buy?
Yes — and you see all of them, not a sample. Every photo of your athlete is shown watermarked and at lower resolution. Paying removes the watermark and unlocks the full-size files.
What if there are hardly any photos of my child?
If we found fewer than five photos of your athlete, you don't pay. We'd rather lose a sale than take your money for a thin gallery.
How do I pay?
PayPal — with a PayPal account or any major credit card. Prices are in Canadian dollars.
What can I do with the photos?
Anything you like. Print them, frame them, post them, send them to grandparents. They're yours, with no restrictions and no extra licensing fees.
How long are photos available?
90 days after the tournament, then they're removed. If you want them kept permanently, add the archive option at checkout and we'll hold them for you.
My photos haven't appeared yet.
We usually have photos live the same evening, and always within 48 hours. If your tournament has finished and you still can't find your athlete, email hello@sportpicz.com and we'll look into it.
Privacy & your child's safety
This is the part we take most seriously. Read it all — and if anything here doesn't sit right, email us and we'll fix it for your family immediately.
Can a stranger find photos of my child?
No. There is no public gallery of children to browse. Photos are reachable only by face match, and matching is restricted to parents and guardians. If you're ever concerned about how a specific gallery is being accessed, contact us and we'll remove your child's photos the same day.
What happens to the selfie I upload?
It's used once, to run the face match, and then discarded. We don't keep it, we don't add it to any database, and we never sell or share it.
Who is photographing at these events?
Accredited photographers working under our name, each with a current Vulnerable Sector Check, working with the tournament organizer's permission and clearly identified by a SportPicz jersey.
How do I opt my child out?
Email privacy@sportpicz.com with your child's name and the tournament. We'll remove them from face matching and delete their photos — no questions, no forms, and usually within a few hours. You can do this before, during, or after an event.
Who has consented to this?
We shoot only where the tournament organizer has appointed us as official photographer and where families have agreed to event photography as part of registration. Our permission comes through the organizer — but your opt-out overrides all of it, always.
