Official tournament photography

Scope. SportPicz will act as official photographer for the event above, photographing game action across the schedule the organizer provides, and will make each athlete's photographs available to that athlete's parent or guardian through a face-matched gallery.

Cost to the organizer. None. SportPicz bears all costs of photographers, equipment, gallery hosting, payment processing and family support. The organizer's entry fees, and the venue's rental, are unaffected.

Revenue share. SportPicz will pay the organizer 5% of gross photo sales attributed to the event, for as long as the event gallery is open. A statement showing families reached, photographs delivered, sales and the share due, together with payment, will be issued within 30 days of the gallery closing. No invoice is required.

What the organizer provides. The court schedule and divisions to prioritize; credentialed access for SportPicz photographers; a printed sign (supplied by SportPicz) posted at the scorer's table; and one paragraph (supplied by SportPicz) in the organizer's existing communications to registered families.

Consent. The organizer confirms that its registration terms permit event photography. A parent or guardian may nonetheless opt any athlete out at any time by emailing hello@sportpicz.com; SportPicz will remove that athlete from face matching and delete their photographs the same day. The opt-out overrides this agreement.

Privacy. There is no public or browsable gallery. Photographs are reachable only by a parent or guardian who supplies a reference photo of their own athlete; that reference photo is used once for matching and then discarded, and is never stored, sold or shared. Event photographs are deleted 90 days after the event unless a family has purchased an archive of their own athlete's set.

Safeguarding. Every SportPicz photographer is insured, is clearly identified in a SportPicz jersey, and follows the venue's and organizer's rules of conduct. Photographers work from courtside and public areas only.

Insurance. SportPicz carries commercial general liability insurance and will name the organizer and the venue as additional insureds, providing a certificate before the event.

Exclusivity. None. This agreement makes SportPicz the official photographer for this event only. It does not restrict families, the organizer's own staff or volunteers, or any other provider at any other event.

Logos on galleries. The organizer's, sponsors' and venue's logos may be displayed on event galleries at the organizer's request. Photographs are delivered only to each athlete's own parents and guardians; none are supplied to the organizer.

Cancellation and term. Either party may cancel in writing at any time before the event, without penalty. This agreement covers the event above only; further events are by separate agreement. It is governed by the laws of the province in which the event takes place.
